Over the past few weeks the group have managed to put forward a greater deal of our time to make sure the completion for the footage we need is available for us to edit and finalise this coming week for our deadline date.
We have filmed many shots in which we may not use in our product but at least we have the option to use them if need be. These will go towards the big build up nearing the end of the trailer. The shots included: the shadow of a knife being forced downward in a stabbing motion, a hand grabbing a door handle, an extreme closeup of the kidnapper blowing out a candle and many more. The last shot mentioned ere of the kidnapper blowing out the candle was put forward to symbolise life and that he has the power to 'blow' this away. The flash back shown previously in the trailer demonstrates the girl blowing out the candle. This is promoting the fact that she let the kidnapper, unkowningly into her home, therefore it is her that blows the candle out.
