This magazine caught my eye as quite scary and horrific. This is because a lot of the focus on the front cover is aimed at the blood smeared over the woman. Her expression is minimal, not giving off any emotion, allowing viewers to only think of the worst that she may be traumatised from something that she has experienced.
She is positioned in the centre third of the page so that her face is the focal point.
The same font is used throughout so it does not look too busy.
The title of the magazine, 'Gorezone', stands out as it is in large, bold writing in a red font. The red can represent blood and gore which links in with the name, 'gore'zone.
The font and colours used throughout the poster are consistent. This helps the page not look too clustered.
