The group and I have been able to start filming in the past weekend. In using our storyboard as a guideline to which shots we need we added different shots and ideas all the while so that we can have a selection of shots to choose from when it comes to editing. This allows us to get the best shots to be able to have a well thought out product at the end.
We have managed to film many shots at dusk to in-cooperate an eerie atmosphere and some in the day time too for contrasting aspects to see which works best. In using day time shots, the character we used puts in earphones. Our thinking behind the victim wearing earphones is because, it is stereotyped for darkness to be scary as one of your senses is useless, so taking away hearing is hopefully going to have the same effect.
We have managed to use a variety of shots such as: tracking, panning, over the shoulder, first person, two shots and close ups. These will be edited and be added to at a later date when we can visually see the footage recently captured.
